Abstract:
At the same time with the acceleration of the scientific revolution, especially the digital one, and the entrance in the "information era", all organizational activities face major mutations starting from the preoccupation for physical work to the intellectual one. The key aspects of the new economy regard the access to information, skills and technology. To gain competitive advantage in the contemporary economy it is very important for organizations to focus on human capital, to be aware of the importance of channeling people to the objectives of the organization through a participative management style, to ensure the transformation of the traditional human capital into a modern and efficient intellectual capital. Human capital can be selected on the labor market or by the superior capitalization of the organization's internal resources.
