Abstract:
The issues presented in this article are aspects subsumed, in the psychoorganizational literature, to the concept of leadership. The knowledge society imposes a multitude of leadership forms: provisional leadership, strategic leadership, dynamic leadership, leadership by objectives and leadership by innovation. The classification of the leadership forms has been realized taking into account the perspective, the orientation and the finalization of the leadership. The choice of leadership forms presented has in view organizational efficiency. The distinctive features of the institutions in the Romanian pre-university education system impose an attentive evaluation and adaptation of the leadership models emerged in non-educational contexts.
