Abstract:
his paper proposes a discussion on the interractions between tourism and environment, emphasizing both favourable and negative impacts. They are addressed from the perspective of natural and built environment, followed by a review of the indicators employed in order to highlight these impacts. Further on, various responses and possible actions are identified, accompanied by a look forward, in the 2020 perspective.
