Among the indicators used to express the performance level, the most frequently encountered is labour productivity. The structure of the paper is the following: firstly, an overview of the human resources management practices and the relationship with the organizational performance, especially the labour productivity, is presented, and then the results of several previous studies on this topic in Romanian companies are discussed in relation to the subject approached. The next section presents the research methodology, followed by a section reserved for data analysis and interpretation.
